Mark McIntosh

Having worked on the Hill and also representing corporations’ political, policy and investment interests, Mr. McIntosh is a trusted industry leader in growth strategy, communications and organizational strategic planning and execution. He structures and leads teams, creates best practices and internal controls to improve operations, systems and profitability, sets and manages budgets, and builds necessary client relationships to advance corporate revenue, branding and other objectives.  His significant Hill/Chief of Staff and political campaign/communications experience and connections are often relevant assets to his clients as they embark on organizational growth or contemplate significant change.

Prior to joining NSTXL, Mr. McIntosh was most recently CEO of Source Molecular, a environmental science biotech company. He has also been Chief of Staff for two members of Congress (Gov. Mark Sanford & Rep. Kerry Bentivolio) where he integrated the strategies and activities of the Washington D.C. office, district office and political campaign teams and managed 31 staff consisting of attorneys, policy and campaign staff.  He was also responsible for working with Congressional Leadership to strategically coordinate the activities of the Congressmen with Leadership, committee and other member offices.  Prior to joining the Hill, McIntosh served as the Policy Director for Governor Jon Huntsman’s presidential campaign where he was the senior advisor and principal architect of Governor Huntsman’s campaign policies, policy strategy and policy communication.  After serving as Deputy General Counsel at the White House working both for White House counsel and the Council on Environmental Quality, Mr. McIntosh joined the firm Boyden Gray & Associates where he provided strategic policy and business guidance on financial regulations, energy and natural resource issues.
